About Majken Mann

I am educated from Danmarks Design Skole in 2004, from the line product/textile. In that connection, I was nominated by the magazine Wallpaper, for the “15 Most Wanted – NEXT GENERATION for new designers in the whole world in 2004. I design products for interior and work in different materials – textile, glass, metal and wood. I get inspired by architecture, with its stringent tight repetitive elements and also from contrasts, like light/dark, black/white, hard/soft, but also from a desire for “that form follows function”. This is my starting point, that with as few means as possible, to be able to create a visual silence, simplicity and timelessness.
